Probably used by some Sauropod 150 - 200 million years ago. (Gastrolith)
Then picked up by some curious and enterprising human needing a good tool just a "few"years later (LOL) (hammerstone)

That's interesting, There is an area near where I hunt that you can find quite a number of gastrolith's. And it seems that these stones were picked up and utilized in the same matter. At times you can find them where they were spalled in half, and even find points and tools used from the same types of materials. They make good hammer stones.
