Glacial erratic at seaside?

An impressive observation…..It is one of many rocks within a moraine along Long Island Sound….Here’s some more pics of the area….and the last one...a glacial erratic quite a few miles inland

To think those things "floated" down there on snow.
Since we have a hundred or more feet of that glacial loam around here and one nearby ridge/morraine has a 280+ foot glacial loam base, those guys pop up all the time in ground clearing.
