22 Aug, 1983 - Reported to MCRD San Diego, CA for Marine Corps Basic Training. PLT 1091 D Co, Sr. Drill Instructor Sgt Pruitt.
1983-1984- MOS School at NAS Memphis, Millington TN (MOS 6073=Aviation Support Equipment Technician (Electrical)
1984-1985- MCAS Iwakuni, Japan (Headquarters & Maintenance Squadron 12)
1985-1992- MCAS (H) Tustin, CA (Headquarters & Maintenance Squadron 16)
1991-92- Deployed to Al-Jubayl, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm
1992-1993 - MCAS El Toro, CA (Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 11) with 6-month deployment to Iwakuni, Japan with Marine All-Weather Fighter Attack Squadron 121 VMFA(AW)-121
1993-1996 - Marine Corps Deteachment FT Huachuca, AZ- Attached to the Department of Defense UAV Training Center as Flight and Payload Instructor on the Pioneer and Hunter UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) Systems.
1996- RIF'ed (Reduction in Force) from Marine Corps. Or, as I like to put it, "laid off by Bill Clinton."
1997- 2006 Joined Michigan Army Reserve National Guard with the 1436th Engineer Company (CSE) in Montague, MI.
2005 - Deployed to LSA Anaconda at Balad, Iraq.
2006 - Transferred to 1433rd Engineer Company (SAPPER) to serve as a Combat Engineer Platoon Sergeant.
2007-08 - Deployed to Camp Victory, Baghdad Iraq to serve with the 177th Military Police Brigade as Brigade Engineer NCOIC.
31 May, 2009 - RETIRED!
