Went with a friend to a hunted out site, that has load of history, but mainly was a roman military camp.
He found two sestercius and other goodies.

I found my oldest coin, from 14 AC, just when the romans where conquering Spain.
Also other two roman coins, and one from medieval times.
One thimble (my friend said its roman i dont know)
One roman pin, and part of a fibula... :'(
A pedestal for statue, it has some gold leaf on it... :icon_scratch:

Thanks for looking

Congrats, I know how difficult these early ones are :hello2: :hello2: :hello2: :hello2:

Wow! :headbang: :icon_thumright: I hope someday I can make it across the pond so I can make amazing finds like that! Sooo much history...When you say Caesar Augusta are you talking about Augustus Caesar? If so, that's extra awesome! Quick history lesson for those who don't know...Augustus Caesar was the first "known" Emperor of Rome and was the heir of Julius Caesar just to name a couple facts!

Congrats on finding your oldest coin! That is about 1681 years older than my oldest :laughing7:

Hola Nutria ! :hello:
Los dos Semis son de Emerita Augusta :icon_scratch: estas en Extremadura ?

This emperor is TIBERIO CAESAR AUGUSTUS, from the 14 to the 37 AC.
