Roman Industrial Site - Day 7 - Finally Return...

CRUSADER · Mar 29, 2014

Plan A was to do a large field that was meant to have be graded down from a deep plough. Not a field we have done very much but our little explores where promising. When we arrived we noticed it had not been done. So we quickly moved to the nearby Roman Site which had recently been drilled & rolled, so we thought we stood a chance at gridding from another angle.
I put the larger head on 11" & we spent a productive 4.5 hours:

13 Scrappies
Jetton
1 Tudor Button
1 Lead Medieval Button
1 early Navy Button
Frag of a Roman Buckle
Contemporary forgery of a Denarius (showing some plating)
Nice Vespasian Denarius 8-)

Charles I hammered Penny

Nice hunt Cru. I like the Naval button and the hammered.

Nice denarius! Hammered, good all round hunt.

Great Denarius. Very nice Charles I as well. Is it Tower Mint?

Another productive hunt Cru, especially for coins and buttons. Nice job on the hammered.

Where's the roman gold

I would love to see a few pictures of everything you have found over the years. You could likley open your own Museum!

You need to be in an untouched Fort for 1 of them, we have no such sites. If it happens, which is highly unlikely, it will probably be a random one in the middle of nowhere.
