Firstly that was some of the worst weather I have detected in (& I'm not fussy), the day finished when a gale force hailstone storm hit us. (A massive tree blow over & blocked one of the main roads) The hail was near horizonal & it killed my face & hands, plus we got soaked. We gave in other the lightning was hitting 3 miles away - 3.5 hours.

Today we finally finished the Eastern edge, & started extending the Southern end.

At least my first hammered of the year after covering nearly 15 acres to get it!

Henry V Halfpenny circa 1420 - a King that I don't get many coins of...8-)

Tudor Button
Tudor Sword Belt Fittment
Nice Running Hare Roman Brooch (I think my first of this type):icon_thumright:

I drove through your neck of the woods Friday evening, the wind and rain then was horrendous then, good waterproofs is a must in those conditions, but you don't find anything sat in a comfy chair at home :laughing7:

I use a waterproof top that was sea worthy, but I think its lost some of its proofing & now leaks a little. The mistake was no waterproof bottoms.:sadsmiley:

Fishings different, I have an all in one storm proof one for pike fishing in winter (too bulky to detect in), broke the ice a few times.
