Happy New Year everyone,
Today was my fifth hunt ever. I've been at it every chance since December. I've learned a lot from all of you and this whole forum and greatly appreciate it. I'm having a very good time. I think I'm getting this pinpointing thing down too. Yesterday yielded $.48 in clad at a small tot lot. Today I think I got pinpointing. I set my personal clad record with $3.44 in clad at another tot lot. I'm glad I got it in because the weather here is going to get a lot colder. I like it warm. I can't wait to hit the beach this spring.

The pics are poor but here is a little spin.

Thanks for looking and all your help.

that lead strip you have a question about is a wheel weight for mag wheels. you don't dare pound the other style on them as it will ruin the chrome. they can oalso be used on aluminum wheels.

Remember keep finding $3 a day in clad and it will add up...good luck in 08...... :)

Thanks for the weight ID. I would not have had a clue. It does have a strip on the back that was probably the glue and it had a weight stamped on front.

Thanks....

Great looking tot lot. I'm jealous...everything here in Michigan is covered with snow. Pretty good finds...keep up the good work.

Prober...have your gear ready...if your weather is like ours... Look at forecast for Sunday, Monday, Tuesday...should be a big melt looking to see ground for first time since early December! :)
