Rough tool or core?

Finally took this out of the truck and noticed it had some nice flaking on one edge. Thought it was a core/blank when I picked it up.

Yes when I hit send I saw Gator had posted the same thing. But as I look at the time frame we sent it shows 2 different times. I was asking the OP if he thought Chopper that is why there was a ? on the end of it. Its nice whatever it is

I think GatorBoy got that. I've found cores that look pretty much just like that but never with pressure flaking added along the edge. We found one once that appeared to have wear on the flat bottom side and we speculated it was used in hide work. Would have worked for that anyway.
