Got this shot on Tuesday morning, just getting around to a good look at it. Royal poinciana laying down a beautiful red carpet. Favorite subject of the Highwaymen artists of Florida, but I've never seen this view in a painting. I may play around with making this look like an oil on canvas. I've added a pic of the usual Royal poinciana image in full bloom for those who have not had the pleasure.(not my photo)
