RPin' it on the Button Backroads
Insane to be out in Feb here, but I'll take it! Ironhorse and I did our first hunt down the old button backroads today and I was successful for the count of two in the military department... and unsuccessful for the count of two in the condition department.
But I'll never shun a Rev War button! 
We tried a few different areas and the last site was a frosty corn field, and I probably looked like an ape breaking open coconuts banging the clumps of dirt on my shovel... but you gotta do what you gotta do, and me got me some ok coconut juice. 
(and a couple of large coffee right now) 
Anyway, pretty good start, but any start in Feb. would be a good one anyway!
The coins are a George III and Charles II Irish Halfpenny. A first for me but sadly just enough to ID and not much more.
