Today I met up with a fellow tnet member and went to a site we've been to before. This is the same place I found my first fatty Indian. But this time I brought my new Xp DEUS. And man did it find stuff the at pro didn't. It's a slow learning curve but I think it will be a great detector for me. ( it sure found more than lone wolfs T2) sorry Wayne 😁
It was a site loaded with iron, I managed to pull 2 locks a silver plated suspender clip a button that has some type of black stone with arrows or some type of leaf design on it, a few spoons which I enjoy digging for some reason. An axe head which is the 5th one from this site, and my first shield nickel which is in beautiful shape, dated 1868. I'm very happy I got to find that.
With all the frost it was very tough digging, I wore my muck boots and actually put a hole in the bottom of the arch part in my boot due to kicking the crap out of my shovel.
Thanks for reading and good luck all!
