Went to the place of the former village. Possibly there was a market or hotel near main road. My detector caught weak, but a good signal. Some minutes I dug a hole what to get it. At first I thought that it was the silver coin, but soil was scattered and the hole of 15 inches in depth gave here this miracle.

Oh WOW that's such an awesome find. I wonder what's the appraisal value. I say "priceless":notworthy::occasion14::hello2:8-)

Unfortunately, the Russian hunters don't appreciate the history as you, Americans. We remember and we honor our ancestors, but historical values at us cost not much, only rarities. For example this ring can be sold not more expensively than 500 dollars. (400 years of the history = 500$/ it`s madness )
But for me it is one of the best finds for 3 years. And for me it is priceless!

To me the value is the history. No doubt it has monetary value, but just imagine the time in which it was lost makes it priceless to those of us who love history. Wouldn't you love to know the story behind the person who wore it originally. Congrats

Very sweet find, in great condition given it's age. That's a keeper.
