S.F. & W.R.R. Railroad lock

Got out for a few hours today ..And what a signal i got on this lock at 1 ft. down ;D Im glad i dug it,I thought it was a can.. found a few other odds and ends.. The lock has W.Bohannan Brooklyn N.Y. patented june 26 1876 #115 On the front ,and S.F and W.R.R. on the back. The key is stuck :-\ But im glad it came with it..

Great finds. First time I've seen a RR lock found with the key.

That old lock is definately a very cool find. It certainly would look nice in a finds display case.

PBK comes through again. Thank you PBK. Just think that the key was in the lock for about 100 years. WOW if that lock could talk.

Thanks guys :) PBK Thanks for the info ,i found it right by the railroad tracks ;D I found a old brick foundation close to the tracks..Im going to check it some more ....
