Sad news to report, I lost one of the best treasures that I have ever known......My Mom went to be with the Lord Monday night, at approx. 11:30 pm. She will be dearly missed by all. She was feisty, loving, understanding, caring, all that stuff. I am glad that I got to see her this morning, she refused to take her meds, told the therapist to leave her alone, would not eat, and as she always told us kids " that she was fulla piss and vinegar " and if ya don't like it......tough shishky! R.I.P. Mom :'( B.L.C. 9/2/32 - 11/8/10 ..................NGE

Sad news indeed - sorry for your loss.

I'm sorry to hear of your mom's passing. My condolences to you and your family.

Sorry for your loss, my father passed away a few weeks ago at 83 years young. It sounds like him and your mom would have gotten along well.

Thank You all for your condolences, they are much appreciated. Mom will be missed, but not forgotten. Every time I went to visit her at her home, I would take pictures of her, her dog, and and of course her flowers. Also I could not get away from her house without being loaded down with seeds, root stock, tubers, and or bulbs. Thank You mom! I will be taking some of her/my mums to the funeral home with me, they are gorgeous..........NGE

she may be gone but her memories will last forever. my condolences to you and your family

its never easy to lose a loved one -- no matter how old they are or how full of a life they had--- we always want to have em hanging about longer --( except for when their in horrible pain and suffering then we often want it to end quickly for their sake )

remember the special things you did together and all thespecial things family members taught you to do , and you the special moments you spent together having fun. --- many people think only things are "treasures" -- your lifes " time" is really thetrue treasure -- since you are only given so much of it -- and it can not be bought , bartered for or traded for --( otherwise the rich would not die, and the poor would finally be able to earn a easy living selling off some of their "time") --so spend it wisely , hang around folks that make you happy , doing things you enjoy --remember the only real goal of wealth is to use it to pay off the bills so you can then have have "worry free" time to do doing the things you enjoy doing . -- other than that having a big pile of money is fairly useless.

Sorry about your loss. That was a nice tribute to her. May God be with you and the family and comfort you in
your loss.

My condolences. I like the way you put that. You know, the people in our lives are the true treasures.

That is indeed sad news. You told us about your mom in posts and she was cool, I thought. She was alright, sorry for your loss.

I remember, you posted pictures of the fiesty Lady, your love for her was obvious, and she knew it. Y'all had a great gift, and the Lord will see you thru this.
