[FONT=&quot]Dennis Charles Rahn age 75 died Saturday October 14, 2017 at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan. Dennis was born January 27, 1942 in Detroit Michigan, the son of the late Charles G. Rahn and the late Virginia (nee: Walters) Rahn.
Dennis spent the majority of his life in Oakland County Michigan and would later serve in the United States Navy achieving the rank of QM3 or Quarter Master 3rd Class. He served in the Navy from June 20, 1960 until his Honorable Discharge on November 16, 1963. Dennis last served aboard the USS Tidewater.
Following his military service Dennis returned to Michigan and found employment within General Motors. Over the years Dennis worked at the GM Fiero Plant, Fisher Body Group, and Fisher Guide and Trim, working as a fork lift operator. He was a member of UAW Local 5960 from the Orion Assembly Plant.
When Dennis was not working or while in retirement, he could be found fishing or spending time with his grandchildren. He also had a passion for using his metal detector in search of treasures. He used his skill as a metal detector for the Oakland County Search and Recovery Team where he served as a director.
Quiet time for Dennis was usually spent at home either on the computer, playing video games, or just sitting in his yard with his faithful dog Fritz by his side or sharing time with his grandchildren.

That's sad to hear. Even though we don't meet people from the forum face to face we feel like we know some of the members....He will be greatly missed. I usually don't respond or have the words for these type of threads or situation. This one hit me and deserves a response from me. My condolences to his friends and family.

I bought my Tesoro Tigershark on Sandman's suggestion. I always valued his advice. He will be missed.
