San Francisco Median Strips! Walker! Barber! Silver Spoon! Toy Cap Gun!

[Cool Hand Fluke]

Since late Octoer I've been hunting some median strips in San Francisco. Over the last 12 weekends I've taken out 55 silver coins and 132 wheat pennies! My last 2 hunts
I dug a 1937-S walking liberty half, a 1910-S barber dime, sterling silver spoon, old toy cap gun, and 16 wheat pennies! My computer crashed back in October so now I can post
pics again with my new computer!

Sweet silver Isn't there tons of trash on medians?

You would not believe all the trash! Lots of copper and brass! Tons of of miscellaneous metal trash. I could fill half a garbage can with all the metal trash I've taken out!

I firmly believe the removal of the trash is what allowed you to find so much silver lining. WTG!!!

I had to google it but now l know where you were hunting. (never heard the word before, not one we use here in the UK ) Would not think of searching those areas here but l guess on less busy roads it would be OK . Looks like they are productive for you. Some good coins there. Hutch.
