I LOVE IT :D :D :D.......GET WELL SOON SANDMAN!!!!

Sandman, good to see you posting so soon after the stroke. I can only take this as a good sign. Good luck with the rehab and I hope you get back to hunting real soon.

Sandman, sorry I'm late to show up. I hope you're recovery is swift and complete. Your posts and personality make you a integral part of the TNet family... I wish the best. -Ben

Sandman, add me to the list of "Sorry to be so tardy", but please know I am praying for your fast and total recovery. I am so sorry to learn of this terrible news. Chris, if you're reading your Dad's email, let him know we all miss him here.

Best wishes and Prayers

Roger

EDIT I see that by reading down a few posts, the Sandman replied earlier this AM. WHEW! Now, do as the Doc's (and OT/PT's) tell you...........my spouse is an Occupational Therapist (OT)...they can get you back in the swing of things (pun intended) in no time.

Oh, GAWD!, such a relief to see you typing to us, Sandman! We were so scared for you. A stroke used to be such a death sentence, but thankfully they have made such great strides! I know the hospital room is dreary, BUT IT BEATS THE HECK OUT OF THE ALTERNATIVE! ;D :D You get back out there and let us know if there's anything we can do to help!!! :-* Noodle

Best wishes for a speedy recovery Sandman.

Again I want to thank everyone for your best wishes.

Gypsy, The "cute lil hospital gown" is gone. I am allowed to wear sweat pants and shirt so now the nurses make fun of me for wearing CAMO colors.

Dennis,

So very glad to hear you are doing so well.
At this rate you will be home in no time.

Good to at least hear from you Buddy.

Keep up the good work.

Thom

Sandman,I just found out that you are down for a while .Do what the doc says and you will be back in the water hunting before you know it! Great to see you are doing well .Prayers do work. :) Best wishes on a speedy recovery!! ;)

Sandman....by the time I found this you might be home and detecting again! :o :o

Take care, buddy!! I wishing you a complete and full recovery. I always appreciate your posts on Tnet. :)

Wow, finally got the story on my mentor Sandman.

Do what the doctors tell ya to do Dennis and thoughts and prayers being sent daily from Mid-Michigan.

Keep us posted on your progress.

Mike

I want to thank all those that responded to my son's post and wished me well. I think I am caught up on the emails I received now and am almost out of physcial therapy in one week. I am walking without a cane and doing better with a little help from my friends...........

Thanks,
Sandman

Congrats, Dennis! It sounds as if you've made great progress.....and speedy recovery at that.

God bless!

Really glad to hear that SM. I hope you are able to enjoy getting out and hunting again very soon.

As the Beatles's Lennon and McCartney once wrote, "I get by with a little help from my friends."

Great to get an update Dennis,

And thanks for the posts while you were recovering.
I hope all returns to some semblance of normal ASAP.
Meanwhile ...
prayers continue

Thom
