saturday hunt, clad, wheatie and V as in nickle !

went back to an old school about 20 minutes away where we had been once before, got started and got a penny hit about an inch or two down so i dug and to my surprize its a wheat , 1958D ! we kept going finding some clad and the wife comes over to me with her hand out so i take alook and jeeesh a 1901 V nickle, when i told her what she had she got excited as it made her day, she lost her younger sister thursday and wanted to get out some today to keep her mind busy and i was really glad for her that she found the V nickle, it was keep out of her way after that she was on a mission ! nothing else that good was found and it was only down about 3 inches but it sure made her day and put a smile on her face thanks for looking and happy hunting

nice "V"! its in nice shape too! i only have found one and its in terrible shape. im glad she was able to get out and find something good.

great finds and am very sorry about the loss of your wifes sister.. wish I could say something to make it all better, but I cant..just be the great guy you have been and try to keep her busy thru this... taking her out was a super nice thing for you to do...

thanks Leon, tymcmurray and Bootybay, she wanted to go and i was glad as i got a new detector i wanted to play with but i would have done whatever she wanted to do today, she loves this hobby as much as i do and it was good to take her mind away from things today
