Saturdays dig with Good Friends yeilds an amazing array

My wife & I invited our good friends josh & Abby silva (team All South from dig wars) to a new spot of mine for some good ole VA diggin. As he has done for me many times in the past .The. Girls really had great hunts!

These finds represent the best of what we dug in a 10 hr hunt. We also dug musketballs , flat buttons and tons of junk, hundreds of targets but the finds were there!

Now those are some nice buttons! I dig my share of junk too, but if you're on an old site, you could miss some great finds passing some of the junk. I almost passed a nice sterling ring a couple of weeks ago because I got tired of digging clad and was only going to dig deep signals. Glad I dug that last 3" signal because it turned out to be a nice little sterling ring.

That's one fine looking Confederate handful there James. They all look in pretty nice shape too. The Virginia tongue has nice crisp details compared to the last one I saw that was dug at Coles Hill.

James,that is banner all the way but you are right since it was a group effort. Dude,I am blown away by such a Confederate haul. Congrats to you, Josh and the girls.
