Saturday's finds - a little silver

Hello everyone.
Got out for 3-1/2 hours yesterday. Another schoolyard hunt, easy pickins. It was a beautiful day to be out there, nice weather. The first really warm day we have had here this spring.
No gold today, no rings, but I did find two .925 sterling earrings. One is pretty nice. It has a mother of pearl inlay. I also found a lot of junk jewelry and 124 coins = $10.26 face value. Included were another $1.00 Canadian Looney (my 3rd one this spring) , a Chinese coin with a round hole through the center, and a Detroit People Mover token.
All in all, a great day, nothing of really high value, but I was happy just to get out there and swing. The rest of the weekend is going to be filled with work... knocking off items on her "honey-do" list... painting outside and finishing some new lanscaping we are doing.

W hat do you call the things on the bottom? I found a butterfly that says friends on the bottom. at the school yesterday. I was thinkink a zipper pull.

The items in the bottom pic are mostly necklace pendants, except the bottom right are charms and bottom left is a badge of some kind.

Yep, lots of digging, mostly in woodchips though, so not too tough.

Congratulations, $10.26 in clad in one day is a LOT. It's also pretty cool to find charms,pendants,and any kind of jewelry. Seems like the children in our playgrounds/schools are poor or someone has hunted most of the areas around here.

I am sure this is just from this school year
as I hunted only in the woodchipped areas this day,
and I am also sure it had been hunted before many times.
There's a lot there still in the grassy areas too I'd bet.

Nice finds there BDoo........I'd go back and hit those grassy spots and get some more........I do a lot of park and playgrounds, and there is always something to be found......WTG and HH
