After an early frost, the sun came out and we had another perfect day in the fields! Himself’s truck is off the road so we had to find a field with suitable parking for his normal car 😏…

Found a lovely spindle whorl, a hinged thingy, bout an inch long when folded… decorated lead, bits of buckles, muskets, 2 livery buttons nd normal buttons, couple of bits of tesserae, pre dec, crusty romans and a quarter hammered… think it’s king William 1 (1165~1214) 🤔 xx
