From a lot where 3 houses had been torn down! Soon to be a parking lot.
The day was steaming, but after finding a silver dime in the first ten minutes,I was staying for sure. Most items were found in the front yard area, and I still need to hunt some of the back.

Not sure what the sterling marked item is,but I was to see the gold color.

Have a good one everyone!

Sweet finds... What a great site... Looks like the dozer operator left you with a smooth area without to much of the soil taken away... Keep us posted on the rest of the goodies that have to be in there...

The Quarter 1944
Dimes 1942,1935
Wheats 1916-D,1940-D,1927,1919,1940-D

pretty common years!

Good job saving the silver, hope you get a chance to pick a few more from there before it's too late.

Glad I went back tonight for a quick hunt! After 20 minutes I was wondering .. then I spotted a disc on the surface in the back yard area. Scanned the coil over it sure enough a penny. Had a feeling it was a Indianhead. Later I spotted the bottle on the other side of lot. Last was the 1891 cent in great shape around the trees.

Probably hunt it again some.. lots of junk though

Doing just that wyattrr.. Went back for a quick hour hunt tonight before dark.

Found the cool cufflink on the ground right about where the porch was on the corner house area.

Then nothing really for next 20 minutes except for the junk I was diggin. almost 3 pouches full of junk!.. then a signal I looked down and saw a pice of somethin stickin out of ground started a plug around it,and saw chain hanging from it... woah no way unfortunately after searching around the area with no signals "yep" it was empty!

This is a complete guess but I think the Sterling clip is from a bow tie. You tie the tie around the clip then clip it to your collar. I tried to find a sample on the internet but could only find modern versions of the clip.

Keep hunting that site until it is paved.
