Saved Three Ladies From Thier Doom!.......................

Came across a construction site the other day in an older section of Philly. Went back with my detector and beat the bulldozer to these Large Cents. An 1828, 1833 and a 1845.
The 33 looks like it was in a fire...the 45 has alot of detail left.

Keep your eyes open on them construction sites. You gotta act fast..They can pour concrete pretty quickly..Now this detecting site is just a memory... Sometimes the bulldozer does most of the work for you.

Very nice on "picking up the ladies"

I have only been able to MD 1 of 10 construction sites (usually the forman is paranoid about liability).

Nice finds there! I have a site that I have been trying to get permission to hunt but no luck so far. It is up for sale but the historical building that sat there has been moved. Way too cold right now for anything to go on construction wise, but I drive by that site everyday. Once it changes hands, I plan to try to get the owners permission to detect there.
