I found a third silver ring at a local school. This one was less a foot away from a fence, just barely under the dirt. Sweet! I know this design has a name but all I can think of is - ancient Indian flute player. Weighs in at 4 grams. Nice.
Nice going! I really like that ring. Hoss hit the nail on the head when he ID'ed it for you. Where there is 3 there has to be more, so, what are you waiting on, get back over there!

I am going back tomorrow morning so I can hit the areas where all the football teams practice that keep me to the edges during the week. The last two times it's been three separate groups of kids practicing football in three different areas. Oddly though the three silver rings have been all on the very edges of the school/park grounds. I would have expected some more jewelry in the park where all the playing takes place. I have done some searching of the actual football Field - all clad, no silver or gold there yet.
On a side note why do young boys have to make snotty remarks about me metal detecting why they do some things I concider just as weird like play stupid video game where they slay fake monsters with flaming swords and karate kicks. Piffle!
I would say that if the youngsters are heckling you, than you obviously aren't scary looking enough! Who cares what they think! Just keep diggin, keep an eye on them, and a hand on your glock! Or if you dont hunt in the "hood" just ignore them and thump them on the cranium with your lesch.
Thats Kokopelli, a native american fertility deity, he would go from village to village enticing virgins with his flute and impregnate them, he has been cleaned up in this picture and is also a symbol for water
