Woke up early today so I could beat the crowds at the soccer field, It was a very good day for me today !. I was finding lots of quarters today and the Kennedy half-dollar was a pretty neat find,it sure rang loud in the headphones. I guess a soccer field is the perfect place to find a soccer token, this one was also pretty loud sounding!.The lizard is a pretty cool find and it is made out of lead, it has 2002 on the underside.Always nice to find a couple items made out of silver, a great day to be out in the sun.

Great finds!! was the soccer field at a school or a private or state owned? and if state owned do you need permission? there are alot of soccer fields around me I not sure if permission is needed!!

This is a public park, two baseball diamonds, a couple soccer fields and a couple volleyball pits. No permission needed, I just make sure it looks as nice after I'm done digging so I can come back another time.

I found a cub scout tie clamp last year. I guess you have plenty of ground to still cover!! Don't forget to check around the soccer goals...

I find most of the clad around the perimeter of the soccer field and I always check around the goals, I usually find some good spots where I think the players sat down their equipment.Usually I try to do some sort of grid search on the soccer playing field, that's where I found the ring, scout clip and some clad. I know I miss a lot of stuff because it is hard to keep a straight searching pattern on such a big field, plus the grounds so compacted it's hard to dig. But I will be going back!
