Scovill button, dog or postal tag!

I’ve been going out a lot not finding much but I found these interesting pieces. The tag has a dog on it, I wish the tag had more on it but it is blank on the back. The Railroad button could be from the Southern New York railroad or an overall button from the Sweet Orr Co. I sure love seeing what everyone has been finding! Happy Hunting!!!

The front is the train. I guess Scovill made a lot more buttons than just military. Thanks for the post!

Hello diggingthe1. Those are some great finds, all of them. I really like the button and the tag...are you sure that's a dog, looks more like a cat to me...never seen a cat tag though.

That is a killer button you got there.....and the tag may just be a key fob similar to these two I have dug. You could get many different motifs as preferred. Too bad yours doesn't have personal info on it. I like it though, very cool.
