found a new park to hunt .looks old. and not many folks around.the few coins i found there were semi modern.but she shure produced a lot of very large copper and brass items.brass door jamb and knocker.all brass lock ,8 copper fittings.brass oar lock? thing. 4 8 to 20 in sections of lawnmower damaged copper tubing . and a very large roll of copper wire [1 foot deep].i would say 25 cents in coins and 25 dollars in metal. im not fussy i will take any and all treasures !! after all it is called METAL DETECTING. YES I DUG SOME soil from nearby woods area so u cant tell i was there.

WTG on the copper. You mean the copper pieces were so big you had to borrow some dirt from the woods to fill the holes? Nice.

yes i did have to add soil in several places.the wire i found was like a large door xmas wreath.

copper on a roll is worth more, ( #1 copper ) over coins (#2)

I find a way to sell all the metal I find, have buckets for copper, brass, aluminum, stainless, and one for other junk metal. At the end of the year I sell and make a few dollars that way as well!! Congrats on your "metal detecting"!!
