se pro noise cancel question

Lately, periodically while out my detector has been going a bit wonky. Powering off and restarting seems to fix it for a while.

When I do this does it retain the last frequency it locked onto when I did a noise cancel, or is there one it defaults to?

usually explorers locks on 11 channel. But what is wrong if not? go to noise cancel in menu and check what is the channel.
