I was in Galveston's Stewart Beach on May 27 . After 4 hours of family fun it was time to hit it. The time was about 6 pm but the crowd was as thick as noon. I didn't expect to find much because my wife had mentioned it was almost time to go. The toddler was cold she's hungry etc. I got in about 1 hours worth and came out with 13 cents and a real nice butterfly 14k ring it measures a full inch long. I've scanned it the best I could. I wanted to add I VDI'd this ring with my DFX and it reads a steady 19 to 20

Make mental note here, folks. Filigree gold reads as foil

I found this not long ago - sounded like scratchy foil, well below nickle. Same conductivity as the butterfly ring. I'm certain it is the RING part that you picked up, not the butterfly part. Good ring regardless. Proud daddy!
