I did not finds this today but i found it last weekend and have had no time till now. I was detecting a house form 1789. I dug one flat button a toe tap and a iron buckle and then i was getting nothing. I dug a small piece of copper and less then a foot away I found my oldest coin ever. It was straight up and down. A 1876-S seated liberty dime I kind of hit it but I still love it.
Edit: does anyone know how old the toe tap may be?

Nice looking Seated Dime.

Always good to find old silver, very nice.

Nice Find! and the toe tap is also mid-late 1800's would be my guess. I have several at late 1800's sites.

Excellent find !

Way to go sniffing out that Seated- Congrats!
