My brother and I got out today for an hour and man it was great. I found my 2nd seated half of the year and a 1812 Canadian half penny token. And my brother found his first 2 cent and a 1837 US not one cent token but it has been altered to say not one cu*t ! We had a blast. The seated was under a big rock and my brother was watching me I flipped the rock out of the way and didn't see the coin until I turned back right as my brother started yelling. I guess it was an early birthday present for me.

Very nice recoveries. Do you think that the seated half was intentionally hidden under the rock 150+ years ago? It sure doesn't seem like a random drop. That was a lot of money in those days, so maybe the half was hidden under a big rock for safekeeping. Keep hunting that site as there may be more surprises there.
