Well the wind was from a different direction and off shore today, but the waves showed me NO mercy.... The tide wasn't out like I would have liked, but I made the best of things... Believe me when I say I hardly had any targets today... It was like a desert with water and rocks under my feet... So in between the waves, rocks, horse flies, and a not so low tide, I was listening very good for those faint signals I always talk about... First decent signal was a clad quarter.... I went back and picked up where I left off, next to that hole I got another signal 4 inches to the side.... I dug down and to the side four scoops, and I walked back to the beach where I could see if I had the target, sure enough, I dumped out a nice antique wedding band... Not Marked but tested 10 K... I'll take it...So this is where it got a little interesting... about an hour later in between the junk targets, as my buddies were walking towards me, I looked down and thought I was looking at a pull tab through the waves, WRONG ! it was a beautiful eye find sitting on the top of the rocks, must have been a new drop... Turns out to be a White 10 K gold ring with 2 small diamonds and a beautiful stone in the center... seems to be of a greenish color?... any ideas?.... the tide was coming in at that point... I called it a day, Keep your eyes peeled at all times... That makes the fourth Gold ring this year I have found rite on top... Happy Hunting everyone... DSC_0007.webpRing 51.webpRing 52.webp
