Second visit to new site gets me some more CW lead, silver thimble and other doodads.

Didn't get a real early start yesterday like I planned, but got out there around 10:30. My father in law got the permission for me and the landowners weren't there the first time, but got to talk to him this time. Gave me the property layouts and such. It's about 400 acres and is quite bigger than I thought. Told me to come out anytime and have at it...we all like to hear that, right? I walked a lot yesterday, kinda avoiding my initial "hot spot" that I found 3 minutes in the field next to their house and tried to find some other potential hot spots on the property. None came up as of yet yesterday, but it's A LOOOOT of land for one person. My total bullet count was smaller this time, 21 on the first visit and 5 this time. I know there's more, I haven't even begun to grid yet. Just wandering as of now. A full CW button has eluded me here again, just a cuff button back. I believe this to be confederate territory so hoping I get a nice CS button. Got a few iron buckles and landed a little silver on the trip which was a silver thimble...a first for me! Silver is always nice, right?! Can someone tell me if that one piece looks like a trigger guard to a gun or is it just something totally different? Thanks for looking guys and can't wait to get back out again. HH
