This is only the second time have come across remains of a black bear....

B Skull 1.webp.....b 3.webp

Order some Sal Soda from WASCO. (Wildlife Art Supply Co.) Boil the skull in Sal Soda until clean. Then, get some strong peroxide from a local beauty shop and bleach it white. Skulls are cool once cleaned up and bleached. Gary

Already in the process ToddsPoint, and after it is bleached it will be cool looking especially with the size of those incisors....

nice find those are some big Teef

Pretty cool. I live in bear country and have never come across any of their remains. Lots of deer carcasses though.

That's awesome, I have a baby bear scull I found. I think I will try Toddspoint method and clean it up. I go back and forth weather I like artwork on them or not. Yours looks on good shape, glad you got it before the bugs did!

That's really cool, makes one wonder how it died. Natural, fight, flight, lead poisoning.
No wonder folks that have had the experience went ouch looking at those choppers, and the nasal cavity attests to that keen sense of smell.
