Can you offer $120.25? :laughing7:

That's what you call, "You know, I should have taken that offer..." and them trying to get as close as possible.

My daughter needed a DSLR for her digital photography class. Someone had a Canon XSi listed for 150 + shipping. I offered $120, which was declined. The seller then comes back with a counter offer of $120.50 . Ummmm, ok, I guess I'll cough up that extra $.50

Seller just had to feel like he won...

Sent from a spun out toilet paper tube (one ply)!

Seen you coming a mile away.

LOL. So, what are you going to do without because you had to fork over that extra $0.50? I wonder what the guy is going to get with it! Can't even get a can of Coke for that anymore. Congrats!

I seriously laughed out loud after reading this! :icon_thumright:

It is an interesting tactic to see if you would up the anti in response to the decline without him exposing his willingness to go down to your offer, nothing to lose on his part, I bet most everyone buys at his subsequent offer. I didn't know you could decline then counter later in a separate action. I should try this.

I need one of you to offer $3,000 on this $5,000 ring I have listed to test this out. :D
