Seriously waterproof sunscreen?

Buy a long sleeve shirt, work good for me

I use a fishing shirt that is rated SPF 50, I use sun screen rated SPF70, secret is to reapply it after a few hours if your in the water. I carry sunscreen on me when detecting.

I'm looking for serious beach-hunter sunscreen, stuff that will remain effective even after hours of sweat with an occasional dip. Anybody have practical experience in this area?

Gold Spraypaint!

most only last a few hrs if that in water - I wear long sleeves and just worry about my head and face - I wear a mask most of the time so
mostly worry bout top of my head

Bullfrog I went snorkeling for 4-5 hours and didn't burn my bald head ! Good stuff !

i just had my third, fourth, and fifth Basil Cell Carcinoma surgically removed on Wednesday from my arm and knee. The surgeons keep telling me to apply sunscreen, and I haven't.

These last three were my payday for ignoring that advice. Got some pretty good scars coming now - maybe I can tell the chicks in the bars that I was in a knife fight! But the surgeries are keeping me from water hunting! People pee & poop in that water = high risk of infection.

I'll be looking at sun screen solutions now - I can't be stupid forever!

I'm not much for taking pictures, but maybe these will drive the point home:

The two on my arm were next door neighbors. Probably invisible in the picture, but there is the scar there from my second surgery three years ago for the same thing.

The first surgery was on my shoulder near my collar bone. All carcinomas!

We're using the banana boat kids SPF 50, rub on (not spray). It seems to have a lot of zinc in it and really coats you. Also a pita to wash off.
Been on boat everyday this week, all day, no burn yet.
We do reapply, but this stuff seems to work better than the banana boat 30 SPF stuffs.

I spend hours and hours out on the lava rocks here fishing. The best one I have found for myself is nutrogena 100spf spray i think $14 a bottle. I got a double pack at costco for 12 bucks i think. HH

Man, you let that get WAAAAY too far along. Be alert and catch em early! I've had several removed via nitrogen, but only 1 surgically (and it was just to get a lab to call its type). Everyone (all ages), pay attention to your skin; you don't want to mess around with skin cancer.
