found this today at the plantation, brass says SINGER, looks like a key hole, anyone know?

My best guess is that it came from a singer sewing machine. Maybe that's why you wrote sew sew. Anyways.

I wasn't able to find one in the exact same style but maybe it is a part of a drawer pull from the machine cabinet? Similar to this-
