I bought this thing "as-is" for $70 in at Roycroft Antiques in East Aurora, NY, USA in 2023.
It has some significant damage unfortunately; a big 2 inch chip on the front base, a less visible 2 inch chip on the R side of the first base chip, a 3 inch chip on the back that isn't visible when displayed, and a 2 inch chip on the rim. There are also a couple nibbles; one to the L of the 1895 date and one on the cheek of the L applied lion head.
That's a lot of damage, I know but I still wanted it. Only recently I've come to wonder just how rare this type of item is.
I have no plans on selling it for the rest of my life as I find it beautiful, however recently I've been curious as to where it's from or what it's worth. Just for bragging rights if there are any
