Went to a park with my brother, my son, and my nephew today. My son found a nice 1900 Barber half and 4 wheats. I found a 1928 Standing Liberty Quarter, a 1912 V Nickel, a Buffalo Nickel and a 1920 wheat, my nephew found a 1943 Mercury Dime and 2 wheats (not pictured), and my brother found 2 wheats (not pictured). Was very surprised at what we got as this park was void of signals, except for what we found. Anyway had a great day and great companionship. P6240109.webpP6240110.webpP6240111.webpP6240112.webp

Congrats on all that silver. I'm sure your son was happy with that barber half. :headbang:

nice haul!! love the SLQ! I was in Whitehall last summer and my son is working at the Blue Lake Arts camp this summer!!

Glad you could experience it with family...and congrats on the finds!

DANG! Your whole family metal detects! Haha

Great hunt! Are you sure the SLQ isn't 1918, that's what it looks like to me from the pic? If it was it could be the rare 1918/7-S one
