It really annoys me when people reduce politics to "My team is better than your team." I do not trust anyone, especially elected officials. And I regularly call and email all the ones in my district and my state. Especially if they do something that annoys me.

My buddies in power? Heh. I do not vote parties, I vote people. I regularly contact all of my elected representatives, whether they are the guy I voted for or not.

As far as immigration? It has been clamped down to a trickle over the past nine years...and most of those doing the hiring of illegals are big money businesses. Tyson Chicken, Wal Mart...ring a bell? Both of those are big BIG contributors to Republican candidates.

It really does not matter if the politician has a D or an R in front of his name. All they are there for is to stay in office, and get as much as they can grab. Once people start to realize that, we will have some real change in this country. And in the meantime, Sheriff Joe should maybe worry more about drug dealers and wife beaters than mexican laborers in his district. You know, those REAL criminals you were talking about?

B) Immigration. Well most Illegal workers just walk across. I know you live in Texas, but in Dallas you just don't get it. Here in Harlingen, it is the war next door. One of my buddies was late 2 weeks ago to our Friday night poker game. He called from the Hospital in Brownsville. He was in Metamoros shopping with his wife when a fire fight erupted between the Fedrales and Cartel gunmen. He tried to hide with his wife, but was wounded. No not a bullet, but shrapnel from a grenade. The illegals we worry about here carry a lot of drugs and RPG's that of course they picked up in the USA None of those guys work for Tyson Chicken. BTW my buds name is Rameriz.

So C) runs back to the reality that those illegals are the criminals and real ones. Just as bad if not more so than wife beaters and they are the drug dealers.

So last is D) pesudoconserative. Bull poopy, I am a full blown Conservative, nothing pseudo about it. I am also full blown Democrat with a big D. Being a Conservative Democrat I don't ignore what I see. The controlling body of the Democrat party is the liberals and they will destroy this country through horribly bad fiscal pratice if allowed. They are liberals like you. Support the ACORN, SEIU crowd if you like. I will fight them with every fiber of my being, locally and nationally.

Prisoners are prisoners. They knew they did wrong. Let them spend their time in the pen and let them go (that time is dictated by our government). But, you have to look at the other end of the stick. Lets say I got put in there for having a quarter bag of pot meant for myself, and the county said "I was distributing". There is always two sides to every story.

I agree with rehabilitation, but there are also unjustness. Take the current news with Texas Governor Rick Perry. He allowed an inesent man to die (in the current news).

But I agree. Let every rapist and murderer die. But, lets just not get ahead of ourselves. The 'witch hunt' was a very bad blemish on the catholic church... never mentioned these days.

Back to Joe. Do the crime do the time. Make it where you do not want to go back. The ACLU should all be sent to Joes place Imho. Libralabsoldier if you where actually from this area you would see the amount of voters are for Joe an the things he does, you would also see how many years he keeps getting reelected,Down here we have allot of problems with the illegals an if somebody with any kind of political backing can help there are allot of Arizona voters who are all for it ,you would also see the amount of Money Joe has saved the tax payers with the way he does things.I worked for the DOC for a few years you see allot of the same faces over an over an over , In Joe's juristdiction he rarely has return inmates , because of his ways THEY DONT WANNA GO BACK.....an BTW I am Native American and A Arizona resident and Ithink I can voice my thoughts freely on this an not be to far off base.

Please let me apologize for letting myself wander into too much of the political arena. I and most other Americans realize that this is not limited to one party of adminstration. Tank, most people do not realize how dangerous it has gotten in the last 10 years because they do not live on the border. When I lived in Tennessee this was a far removed problem discussed as happing almost in another country. Since I have lived here my eyes have opened. Not enforing our laws on this border amounts to treason againsist the American people. It is that deadly to people here.

one was a govenor of a state ( is pro gun rights for legal law abiding folks , has enough sense to know "fetus" means human baby ) the other at least has common sense on how to deal with crime and doesn't reward criminals and illegals with a "soft life"--heck jail is supposed to be "bad" and unplesant get it? thats why you fly right and stay out of it.

personally I think that criminals (except of serial killers and murdersand rapist -- which should be hung ) should be "enlisted" in the military to serve out their terms --as soldiers * on the front lines
