Shining up the gold?

After using the retort to remove the mercury noticed that the gold is a little dingy. I heard that nitric acid would shine it right up but I have no clue how to get that and I was wondering if there are any other tips or tricks that would work.

You might find it at Home Depot or Orchard Supply, a more dilute form for cleaning stone floors??.....................63bkpkr

Doit - I dealt with these guys when I was in your situation. It was a few years back, tho. Don't remember prices, requirements, etc.
