Shipping supplies

I found this on eBay and I just ordered 500 of them. Last week I ordered 250 of the larger ones. Seems like a pretty good price with free shipping and there's no reason not to use them. so I don't know if there's anything better out there for a deal but $30 free shipping to the house can't complain ! Just wanted to share if anybody else was looking for shipping mailers. The price seems right!

I bought padded mailers from Packaging Supplies, Gift Boxes, Cardboard Boxes | Paper Mart In their web catalog they say how it saves on shipping. I pulled one out and used it and my shipping cost went up. The postoffice teller showed me it would not go through the cardboard chart hole. So higher postage. here is a blurb from their catalog

The next day I took the entire order back for a refund (I work only a few miles from there) They wanted to know why I was bringing them back. These girls are just minimum wage tellers, they don't care and anything I say will just be mocked at me when I leave. So I asked to talk to the manager. Some "suit" came down and i explained I had now made two trips to this place because of their misleading catalog entry. He apologised and authorized the refund. Did they fix their catalog entry? NO I just now went to the site and copied that blurb.

I am not putting papermart down too much they do have great prices and I can save by using willcall. I still buy all my shipping supplies from them.

Must of the things i ship in 6 x 9 envelopes do not need bubble protection. I buy grey tear proof 6 x 9 for six cents each.

Checkout Bubblefast. They are on eBay and have their own website. Free shipping. Uline was killing me with shipping costs

I normally get my boxes from uline. I ordered one time from bubble fast. But I didn't check to see that the peanuts were antistatic!! What a mess it was to clean up when I tried dumping it out it was like little Pac-Mans shootn all over the place! I'll never make that mistake again! Antistatic peanuts forever! And if I buy something from you and your peanuts are not antistatic you're getting a negative! Worst design ever!!!!!

Staples online has very good prices for boxes and free shipping if you are a staples rewards member.

Uline cost $6.00 for similiar boxes but $10.17 to ship them

Man, that is an awesome deal. Beachkid - do the labels you print from eBay fit on these 4X6 envelopes? Do you just adjust the print size or what? The labels I have been printing barely fit on the 6X9's I've been using.

I'm not sure yet I haven't gotten the smaller ones in the mail. I ended up buying a laser printer and I don't know if my sticky labels will work in there yet I've been using just regular paper and taping it as of lately. Mainly because I'm out of labels...

That's what I've been doing - I print, fold the paper in half, then tape. Lots of tape and I'm out of ink after just a little over a month. I guess I could print them smaller but I'm not sure. I'll have to look into it.

PAPERMART IS $5.75 IF i PICK UP
now if I want to have them ship this is where they get you.
add $3.00 small order fee and $12.06 for fed-x

guess i will just continue to pick-up on my lunch break.

I heard/read you can print the PO labels at 80%, to save on ink, and their scanners will still scan them. You might want to double check that info, though. I have no idea what I'm printing at..... it fits on a 6x9 mailer.

I get boxes at Publix, walmert, neighbors, :tongue3:

any where that got clean good boxes :laughing7:

, when not using priority.

I just bought a laser printer that prints a lot of paper. I think the ink cartridges supposed to print 3000 things probably more than that I don't really remember. But it was on sale during that tax-free holiday when school started. I think it was on sale from 379 to like 129 and then the cartridge was 75 bucks. I bet the labels will work fine and it is have to cut them in half but I haven't tried yet because I don't have any.

I thought about this but my wife needs the printer for work as well and since mine had crashed I wasn't going to buy two different printers at the same time so maybe someday I'll get the other one as well.
