Great diving there but I doubt Mexico will ever issue a permit there.

I go every year about this time, but flights are getting cancelled left & right. I have had 2 dive buddies that had to take the ferry to Play del Carmen, bus to Cancun then wait 2 days for a flight home. Bob Marx has a good video lecture about his time in Cozumel. We used to dive the airplane in front of La Ceiba back in the 70's before the storms destroyed it.
