Yesterday I went back to my mothers house and hit and empty lot next to hers and found some more goodies. I got another 1945P war nickel and the the 1941 nickel in the same hole. Later on I got the real nice looking WWI Navy button with most of the gilt still on it. The 1960D Rosie was right by the road at 2". I ended up by getting the other button at the end of the hunt. After that I hit a house and got the 1944 merc.
Today I went out with Goes4ever. Haven't detected with him in awhile. We started out pretty slow getting nothing much at a couple of houses. Went to the house where he got his Barber Quarter and I snagged probably the BEST barber I've ever dug. The 1893 Barber dime was at no more than 3" and it still has a lot of its original luster. What a fun good hunt!!!
Any Ideas on the i.d. of the reddish button
