Got up this morning and checked the weather to see where to go. Just as I got to the park it already was sprinkling. I put my covers on my machine and and decided to give it try. First signal was 1945 wheat penny. After a little clad and the side of an old pocket knife I opted to call it a day as the rain was coming down a little harder. One of the shortest hunts I have ever done

Randy, I know you did not want to leave but that was the smart thing to do. Using a detector in the rain (even with covers) is begging for problems. The display may blank out and not come back causing a trip to a repair shop or the factory right when you need it the most. By the way, send some of that rain to middle Tennessee. HH, Quindy.
