Our boss let us out an hour early yesterday so I decided to give the park I've been going to recently another sweep. This place has so far been pretty good. Lots of wheats coming out.......4 wheats to 1 lincoln ratio is about right and it's the same place I found the double rosie's in the same plug. I actually for the first time decided to try out my back-up BH 2200. I managed to find a few wheats with it in the first few swings. After about 15 minutes, satisfied with having been able to actually find coins and PP them with a machine that doesn't have a PP'er, I turned the 2200 off and reckoned I would be back with it someday after the 250 has found just about everything it is capable of finding.
Back to the 250, two targets later the Rosie pops into view. It was down about a shallow 1 1/2 inches. The ingrate in me of course always checks to see if it's a merc. I combed very few feet from where I found it in all directions and called it a day. The only other thing I did was briefly scan an area about 20 feet away that looked promising and sure enough, a wheat came out. This is as close to virgin land as I have ever been to. Photo attached. The photographer sacrificed her day at the beach to take this pic, so there is no way I will take another second longer to prolong this post. Ha,ha,ha
