Short trip to the claim

Went down to the claim for a couple of days with a friend of mine. Didn't get around to searching for that 6" though. Ended up running about 10 buckets of material through the sluice though and found some decent color. I was working a sandbar on the edge sod my creek just before a large gravel bar. Got a bit of flood gold but not anything of size. Few pictures to come.

It's about an hour and a half drive from the nearest town, mile down an old logging road, and then about a 2 mile hike in. Nothing but the sounds of nature

sure wish that was in my backyard! id save lots of money from driving all over the country!
