Thats pretty good for eyeball finds. I gotta admitt Ive been not detecting for a while after a slump I hear ya about needing to get out... Cool pics Jeff

not raining today but heat and humidity is killer

Either Plastic or Bakelight !

Looks like a Stubby Short Santa Leg Except for the Color 3 1/4" tip to bottom.
Probably 2 1/5"< When Installed

Yep ! Slowed me Down, But at Least I Can get out Without the Pain of Shivering

Congratulations on getting out. Nice finds

Isn't the HA Symbol Anchor Hocking? Not sure if anyone else used AH

A nice walk and some cool surface finds! :occasion14:

Good to see your out moving around.. I havent been out around here since you and i were out last. Not enough hrs in the day

Yea Way too Humid to Even Walk out Front & Swing the Detector.
& When it's not Humid it's Raining

Funny thing is.. I hate when people litter theses days but, I love it when they did 50 to 100 years ago. Nice finds!

As long as they are littering metal objects Minus caps and tabs of course

Completely understand.

Last couple times I did swing, I used the *full* capabilities of my detector's discrimination circuits. Sure, I missed a lot of targets. But I didn't have to bend over nor dig much. :tongue3:

Just got my fix and went home.
Its a very good thing to practice the I-Ball detector too!

Yea due to Pinpointers, My eyesight ain't what it used to be.

Before Pin Pointers, I Could spot rusty Tin & BB's with My eyes while Digging.
Now I have to get a Signal Before I Even See Quarters in a hole.
Silver the Exception on occasion

Most targets above took several Scans of the same Spot before My Eyes
Saw them as Intersting.

The Exception The Milk Glass laying in the woods/leaves Near those Standing stones
in the First Pic

And the Lettering on this Piece of Glass Caught my Eye Immediatly

Took a Double Take on the towtruck, Was blending in the Ground.

The others were Invisible till Several looks.
I expect other items Lying in the Open but Invisible to Me yet.

What really Spites me, I Was looking for Fern Fossils In Slate.
As a Kid (pre weeds) I could pick up so many I Didn't Bother.
Now I want them & Everything's Green.

I Used to be able to Walk this path, Ride Bicycles, Bush Runners,
Etc. And see Slate Boulders Clearly to the Sides, That could be Pealed like Tablets
With Ferns Like this (not Mine)

Now all I see is this :(

& The Miners Destroyed the Environment... Right !

Yeah. It do get tougher. But, if we work at it, the process slows down. Worth it to keep using the I-Ball detector, even while swinging. I can't tell ya just how many times I've found solitaire diamonds that have escaped their settings. :)

Just gotta see that "special" glint.

Good job, Jeff! :icon_thumright:

I Can't even see an Indian Arrow head laying on the Ground.
Till someone picks it up & Says Look at this. Then it usually takes a few Seconds for My Brain to catch up With my Eyes on What I'm looking at :(

I Do Easily Eyeball Coins and toys in Grass
