Thats pretty good for eyeball finds. I gotta admitt Ive been not detecting for a while after a slump I hear ya about needing to get out... Cool pics Jeff
Last couple times I did swing, I used the *full* capabilities of my detector's discrimination circuits. Sure, I missed a lot of targets. But I didn't have to bend over nor dig much.
Just got my fix and went home.
Its a very good thing to practice the I-Ball detector too!
Yea due to Pinpointers, My eyesight ain't what it used to be.
Before Pin Pointers, I Could spot rusty Tin & BB's with My eyes while Digging.
Now I have to get a Signal Before I Even See Quarters in a hole.
Silver the Exception on occasion
Most targets above took several Scans of the same Spot before My Eyes
Saw them as Intersting.
The Exception The Milk Glass laying in the woods/leaves Near those Standing stones
in the First Pic
And the Lettering on this Piece of Glass Caught my Eye Immediatly
Took a Double Take on the towtruck, Was blending in the Ground.
The others were Invisible till Several looks.
I expect other items Lying in the Open but Invisible to Me yet.
What really Spites me, I Was looking for Fern Fossils In Slate.
As a Kid (pre weeds) I could pick up so many I Didn't Bother.
Now I want them & Everything's Green.
I Used to be able to Walk this path, Ride Bicycles, Bush Runners,
Etc. And see Slate Boulders Clearly to the Sides, That could be Pealed like Tablets
With Ferns Like this (not Mine)
Yeah. It do get tougher. But, if we work at it, the process slows down. Worth it to keep using the I-Ball detector, even while swinging. I can't tell ya just how many times I've found solitaire diamonds that have escaped their settings.
I Can't even see an Indian Arrow head laying on the Ground.
Till someone picks it up & Says Look at this. Then it usually takes a few Seconds for My Brain to catch up With my Eyes on What I'm looking at
