I'd rather find a holed or counter stamped coin over a worn out one anyday.
It gives them character, shown that they've been used for something other than a piece of currency.
Back in the day something was broke-had very little money or to get a replacement wasn't always an easy.
Folks were more handy I believe back in the day also.
Wreath buckle, coin was used to replace the center.

I'm with you!! They have so much more character to them like you said. That buckle is so awesome!!

Hi everyone!
Went for a short hunt after work today found this pretty neat indian that someone shot a long time ago. Its pretty chewed up but is still pretty cool and is my first coin that has maybe been shot! I also found a few schrader universal nuts too!

very cool IHP but doubt if it was shot, more likely nailed or drilled. great saves anyway
